The Sports Think Tank XXI

Thanks to our host, The Hornet at 1st and S. Broadway in Denver.  North Carolina has institutional corruption in their academic and athletic department.  We discuss North Carolina getting the "Death Penalty."  And in all honesty, can North Carolina be the only school with these issues?  Probably not.  We get into corruption in the NCAA and we debate whether payers will get paid and if the NCAA will eventually be the minor leagues.

A recent trend in the NBA and even MLB is players becoming head coaches without any experience coaching.  Why is this happening?  Very interesting discussinon.  Entitlement is everywhere.  Is it in coaching too?

The Sports Think Tank Episode XIII

Lucky 13 or Lucky XIII.  A fun night at Gary Lee's Motor Club on S. Broadway.  Big thanks to Gary for hosting us again.  Smoked meat loaf...yes, I said it...they smoke their meat loaf...that is all.  We had a blast this evening talking about unwritten rules of sports and is baseball trying to take the fun out of the game.  Is it ok for Carlos Gomez to do what he did?  We also talk about the narcissisistic culture that has seeped into modern society.  It's all about me...ME ME ME ME ME ME!

We then talk about Andrew Mason's (@MaseDenver) new book about the Denver Broncos that is due out in the Fall.  This will be an amazing book and a MUST read for any football fan.  Mason poured his heart and soul into the book and you will want a copy.  We then get into Matt Cooke and his impending suspension.  He's a goon...plain and simple.

We really appreciate your support of the podcast.  Keep telling your friends and co-workers about The Sports Think Tank.  We continue to grow and it's because of loyal listeners like you.  Please follow The Sports Think Tank on twitter @ThinkTankSport.  You can also follow us individually @MaseDenver @DrTravisHeath @RenKnowItAll.  We love your feedback...keep it coming.
